I am one of those true crime law tubers that have watched some
intense trial through some artful commentary/streamers and yes
even through Court TV. I think right now I am at my full line
because there is a lot of juicy trials up like Chad Daybell and
Karen Read and I am not that into it like I thought I would. Oh my
God, that is all the internet is about and oh yeah ex Pres Trump
trial. Every day I get bombarded with updates on all the above
which makes me think maybe way too much info being pushed
out.
At first I was a bit disgruntled about my favorite streamer not
automatically diving into a long-winded murder trial or offset
case that would invoke mixed emotions; all trials do regardless.
of the decision made. I do feel it's important to have a pallet
cleanse after watching an intense trial or even being involved in
something personally, before diving into something else. Now I
why watching silly civil cases or police chases is good before
biting into another emotional rollercoaster.
Although I do feel media has the right to report what is going
and has the right to be inside the courtroom broadcasting, I do
agree with the accused that way too much about the case is being
spread and picked apart and it gets more difficult to find unbiased
potential jurors. I am a watcher of these over sensationalized trials
and I do form an opinion with the way it's presented long before
it gets to the courtroom. I want to be informed but not saturated
I want to be pulled in but not pushed under. I can't help think
that all this craziness isn't inspired by how much press everything
gets.
